The latest statistics about the counterfeit goods provoked the reaction of CBI (Confedarazione generale dell'industria italiana) and on 7th July a national day against the falsification of goods will take place in the major Italian cities.
Syndicates and consumer associations will take part in the demonstrations in Rome, in Venice a mass destruction of counterfeit glasses is planned so that everybody could participate smashing a pair.
The statistics place Italy on first place in Europe in the production of counterfeit goods. In the last ten years the percentage of counterfeit goods increased with 1.85% and today it is over 7% worldwide bringing 700 billiards of incomes. The Italian organisations try to give a positive example in order to change this dangerous trend.
